Description:
To symbolize their entry into medical school, first-year College of Medicine students will receive their white lab coats at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13, in Music Hall.
The keynote speaker is W. John Kitzmiller, MD, professor in the department of plastic surgery.
The College of Medicine sponsors the ceremony, and the Alumni Association gives white coats to the incoming medical students as gifts. The event is designed to instill the responsibility of providing the best patient care to medical students.
A reception will follow the ceremony. |
