Hoxworth Blood Center has partnered with Radio One and the Urban League of Greater Cincinnati to host a Sickle Cell Awareness Blood Drive. This drive is being held in recognition of the 100-year anniversary of the discovery of sickle cell disease. The blood drive will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 7, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The Hoxworth blood mobile will be parked at the Sickle Cell Awareness Group of Cincinnati, 3770 Reading Rd.
All donors will be automatically registered to win an iPad and be entered into a raffle to win a pair of season tickets to see the Bengals play at Paul Brown Stadium.
