Babul Borah, PhD, will be the featured speaker at the next department of environmental health seminar series,
held Wednesday, Nov. 3 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Kehoe Auditorium, Kettering Labs
Complex.
Borah's talk is titled "Bone Quality in Osteoporosis
and its Treatment: Unique Insights from 3D Imaging Studies." He is a research fellow in research and development at Warner Chilcott Pharmaceuticals, based in Mason. Prior to joining Warner Chilcott, Borah worked for Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals where he pioneered the
development of 3-dimensional micro-imaging technology (micro-computed
tomography, micro-MRI) for the quantification of bone quality in order to
provide a better understanding of fractures in osteoporosis.
