|The 2011 OVALS (Ohio Valley Affiliates for Life Sciences) Conference will be held April 14-15 at the Kingsgate Marriott Conference Center.
This year's conference will zero in on:
• Strategies for creating a "Community of Innovation"
• The changing regulatory environment
• Strategies for navigating regulatory hurdles
• Designing clinical studies to be in alignment with commercialization outcomes
• Proof of concept and what it means to researchers, industry and investors
Special Conference Feature:
The Cleveland Clinic’s Global Cardiovascular Innovation Center has joined the OVALS Affiliation as a sponsor and partner in the organizing of this year’s conference. They have organized a special session on "Getting to a First-in-Man Clinical Trial” and will bring leading experts from industry to discuss this important topic.
Poster Competition for Faculty and Students
OVALS organizers are actively recruiting posters that feature cutting-edge technologies that might lead to commercialization outcomes. Cash prizes will be awarded. Please consider submitting a poster presentation or encouraging your students to do so. Students who submit posters will also receive a free registration to the conference.
