CCTST Community Engagement Speaker Series

Description:

The Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Training (CCTST) Community Engagement core continues its speaker series on Tuesday, April 12.

From noon to 1 p.m., "The Why and How of Sustaining Community-Academic Health Research Partnerships” will be presented by Sarena Seifer, MD, executive director, and Susan Ann Gust, board chair, Community-Campus Partnerships for Health (CCPH).

From 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Seifer and Gust will present a case presentation and lead a panel discussion.

Founded in 1996 and based in Seattle, the CCPH fosters partnerships between communities and educational institutions that build on each other's strengths and develop their roles as change agents for improving health.

The series is free and open to the public; CME is available.
