As part of the department of pharmacology and cell biophysics Visiting Professor Seminar and Professional Development Series, Dr. William Jackson, professor of pharmacology and toxicology at Michigan State University, will speak at two events Thursday, Sept. 22. Dr. Jackson is an expert researcher of microcirculatory regulation by drug receptors and ion channels as related to blood flow and blood pressure. He is also an expert in online delivery of graduate courses in pharmacology, physiology and statistics for life sciences.
As part of the ongoing series, noted national external and internal pharmacology experts will visit and give professional development and discovery research lectures on the third Thursday of each month from September 2011 through May 2012. All seminars and lectures are open to the UC community.
Please note that seating capacity is limited in CARE 5870 at noon for the "Meet the Expert" segment but not in Rieveschl Auditorium, Vontz Center, at 4 p.m. for the "Frontiers in Pharmacology" talk. |
