Information in electronic health records is a valuable resource for large-scale data analysis, but access to that information can be challenging.
"Accessing Electronic Health Record Data for Human Subjects Research: Challenges and Solutions” will provide a forum for stakeholders to work together to expand the availability of clinical information for research and discovery while providing the required oversight to protect private health information.
Targeted to biomedical investigators, hospital administrators, privacy officers, compliance professionals and institutional review board professionals, the symposium will be held from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, in the Vontz Center’s Rieveschl Auditorium.
Registration is full and a waiting list has been created for those interested in attending. To be added to the waiting list, please email firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday, July 30, 2012.
