| The UC College of Medicine Department of Cancer Biology will host a special seminar Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, featuring Sripathi Sureban, PhD. He will present a seminar titled: Putative Stem Cell Marker DCLK1 Regulates Tumor Suppressor miRNAs in pancreatic cancer."
Sureban is an assistant professor of research in the University of Oklahoma Department of Medicine, specializing in colorectal and pancreatic cancer with an emphasis on the role of miRNAs and stem cell biology in the diseases. His recent work identified a putative stem/progenitor cell marker capable of promoting cancer progression and metastasis. |
