|Peter Houghton, PhD, of Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, will present a seminar titled "mTOR Signaling in the Pathogenesis of Cancer."
His focal areas include the Pediatric Preclinical Testing Program (PPTP), a comprehensive program to systematically evaluate new agents against childhood solid tumor and leukemia model, and research on antibodies as potential IGF inhibitors, combining rapamycin with IGF inhibitors and using rapamycin to block TOR.
The seminar is open to all interested faculty and takes place from noon to 1 p.m. in the Vontz Center for Molecular Studies.
