The UC Department of Dermatology will host Gerald Lazarus, MD, as the Procter & Gamble Visiting Lecturer on Thursday, Jan. 31. Lazarus is professor of dermatology and medicine at Johns Hopkins University, as well as the founder and former director of the Johns Hopkins Wound Care Center at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
While serving as chairman of dermatology at both Duke University and the University of Pennsylvania, Lazarus established leading academic wound care programs and is highly respected as an expert in wound care.
He will present, "Role of Microbial Populations in Wound Healing and Cutaneous Biology: New Molecular Methods.”
