The Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center's (CCHMC) Ethics Center and UC's Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Training (CCTST) will host a special seminar on Monday, March 4.
Christian Simon, PhD, associate professor of internal medicine and program in bioethics and medical humanities at the University of Iowa, will discuss, "Enabling the Choice (Not) to Receive Medically Actionable Genomic Research Results.”
Simon’s talk will improve awareness of the growing push to enable optional access to medically actionable genomic research results, while allowing participants to achieve a concrete and reflective understanding of the implications of this push for clinician-investigators and patient-participants.
Admission is free and registration is not required. For more information, see the event flyer. |
