|"A Multidisciplinary Data Operations Approach for Clinical/Translational Research” is the topic of the next CCTST Grand Rounds, held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, in MSB 4051.
The featured speaker from 11 a.m. to noon is Bradley Pollock, MPH, PhD, professor and chairman of epidemiology and biostatistics, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He will discuss the importance of computational technologies for clinical/translational research data operations, illustrating the benefits of a multidisciplinary approach.
From noon to 1 p.m., a panel of biostatistics, biomedical informatics and data management specialists will identify and discuss local challenges and opportunities for multidisciplinary data operations in clinical/translational research.
CCTST Grand Rounds are free and open to the public. Continuing education credits are offered for the first hour.
