Cancer Biology Seminar: "Oncorequisite Factors in Lymphoid Malignancy"

Description:

H. Leighton Grimes, PhD, associate professor of pediatrics, will be the featured speaker at the next Cancer Biology seminar.

Grimes is with the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center's Division of Immunobiology and directs the cancer pathology program of the division of experimental hematology and the division of pathology.

His lab is currently studying the transcriptional repressor Gfi1, the so-called "oncorequisite” factor that is required for the development and maintenance of lymphoid neoplasia, such as Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

He will present, " 'Oncorequisite' Factors in Lymphoid Malignancy."
