The UC Department of Dermatology will host Richard Edelson, MD, as the Procter and Gamble Visiting Lecturer on Thursday, Nov. 14.
Edelson is the Aaron & Marguerite Lerner Professor and Chairman of the Yale School of Medicine Department of Dermatology. His research and clinical themes have been intricately entwined, centering on the elucidation of clinically relevant fundamental biology of the malignant lymphocytes and the development of effective anti-cancer immunotherapy.
His anchor has been his battle against the naturally devastating cutaneous T cell lymphoma (CTCL), the most common malignancy of T lymphocytes.
He will present the lecture, "Anti-Cancer Immunotherapeutic Lessons Learned from Management of Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma.”
