CDC HIV/AIDS Lectures March 10-11

Description:

The UC Department of Environmental Health, Center for Environmental Genetics, Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Training, and the UC Department of Philosophy will host Spencer Lloyd, Epidemic Intelligence Service officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, for two lectures March 10-11.
  • From 3:30-5:50 p.m. Monday, March 10, Lloyd will discuss, "The HIV Epidemic and Human Rights in Resource-Limited Settings, in 210 McMicken Hall.
  • From 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, he will present, "The HIV/AIDS Pandemic After 30 Years: A Global Perspective on Successes and Challenges, in Kehoe Auditorium, Kettering Lab.
Lloyd will be available immediately after the seminar to discuss opportunities for students and postdoctoral trainees with the Epidemic Intelligence Service.
