The 2014 Ride Cincinnati cycling event is slated for June 8, 2014, at Sawyer Point in downtown Cincinnati.
All proceeds from this family-friendly event—organized by the nonprofit Ride Cincinnati—benefit cancer research conducted at the University of Cancer Institute and the Barrett Center, the institute’s primary site for clinical care.
Rides range from a one-mile kids bike rally up to a 62.8-mile event, with rides starting at various times between 6:30 and 10:30 a.m. Registration is $40 for adults and $15 for children 12 or younger.
More than 2,000 people participated in the 2013 event, which raised more than $285,000 for local breast cancer research at the UC Cancer Institute and its affiliated adult cancer care facility, the UC Health Barrett Center.
