Nanotechnology Conference

UC and the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health will host a conference on nanotechnology Monday, Dec. 4, through Thursday, Dec. 7, at the Duke Energy Center, 525 Vine St.

The International Conference on Nanotechnology, Occupational Health and Environmental Health and Safety: Research to Practice is one in a series of government-sponsored summits aimed at bringing together prominent nanotechnology researchers and industry leaders to address the potential health and occupational risk factors associated with nanomaterials.

Anyone interested in the potential health and safety effects of nanotechnology can attend the conference. Registration is $295
