Louis Philipson, MD, PhD, professor of medicine at the University of Chicago, will be the Johnson McGuire Visiting Professor in the internal medicine department this week. Dr Philipson will speak at medicine grand rounds (MSB 7051, Wednesday, June 24 Noon) on "Monogenic Diabetes and Insulin Gene Mutations: From Bedside to Bench and Back Again."
At the Department’s Molecule to the Bedside series (MSB 2351, Thursday June 25, Noon), his seminar will be "Insulin Gene Mutations and How the Beta Cell Works: Through the Looking Glass."
