Current Research:
Dr. Shaughnessy's current research focuses on the potential role of E6 activating protein (E6AP), a nuclear receptor coactivator, in the progression of breast ductal epithelium toward the malignant phenotype.
She is also involved in breast cancer prevention trials for women at high-risk for developing the disease.
