Part of a study conducted by Jerzy Szaflarski, MD, PhD, an assistant professor of neurology, and Scott Holland, PhD, professor of pediatrics, that suggests that as a child grows more language proficient, recalling words may involve less effort. The study was published in the April 2006 edition of Annals of Neurology.
