Hormone Replacement Study Seeks Volunteers

CincinnatióResearchers at the Reproductive Medicine Research Unit at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine are looking for postmenopausal women to participate in a study on hormone replacement therapy (HRT).

The study focuses on the effects of a combination of Estratab and two most commonly prescribed progesterones, Promera and Prometrium. Scientists want to see which HRT improves the quality of life for postmenopausal women. Menopause may disrupt a woman's sleep pattern, cause vaginal dryness, and other physiological changes. HRT can lessen the effects and help women cope with the changes.

Volunteers must be healthy, postmenopausal women between 50 and 65 years of age with no major medical illness. Participants will receive compensation along with free study medication, exams, and tests. For more information, call (513) 584-0890.
