Amit Govil, MD, medical director of the pancreas transplant program, is hoping to expand the program so that more patients, like Brown, can have the chance to lead normal lives when vital organs start to fail.

Govil Named UCMC Physician of the Quarter

Amit Govil, MD, associate professor of medicine in the division of nephrology and hypertension, has been selected as the UC Medical Center "Physician of the Quarter.” This honor is delivered to individuals and units who are recognized by hospital patients in Press-Ganey patient perception surveys.

Govil was recognized at a hospital awards ceremony Tuesday, Feb. 12.
