Holsing has been appointed as an associate dean for the College of Medicine,
primarily focused on enhancing operational efficiencies and financial
joined the college 12 years ago as the information technology (IT) director for
the department of internal medicine and has served many roles during his
tenure. In 2009, he became the executive director for business and
administration (EDBA) for the departments of neurology and pathology.
He has been
actively involved in centralization initiatives for the college, including
development of robust financial reporting, centralization of accounting
functions, consolidation of the IT service desk and development of a single
practice plan for University of Cincinnati Physicians.
In his new role, Holsing
will spend approximately 30 percent of his time in the Deanís Office,
continuing as the EDBA for the neurology and rehabilitation medicine
