Cincinnati—On Wednesday, July 28 at 4:00 p.m.,
University of Cincinnati will give an overview of major building
openings and special events planned for the 1999-2000 academic year.
The news media and members of the university community are invited to
the presentation, which will take place in the UC Alumni Center, Alumni
Hall.

Attendees will receive a schedule of major opening celebrations for the 1999-2000 year, including:
The
Vontz Center for Molecular Studies, the Frank Gehry designed medical
research building on the Medical Center campus. Dedication will take
place September 23.
University Center, located between the
academic campus and the medical campus, includes the Kingsgate
Conference Center and University Hall office building. Dedication on
October 12 and open house on October 13.
Science and Allied
Health Building, Raymond Walters College, the cornerstone of a redesign
which is changing the face of UC's Blue Ash campus. Dedication November
18 and open house on November 21.
College-Conservatory of Music
expansion and renovation designed by Henry Cobb will enhance the
college's teaching and performance capabilities. Dedication will take
place December 3.
Campus Green, formerly a parking lot, becomes
green space for gathering and informal recreation on the West Campus.
Dedication is planned for June 2000.
