Nursing Rings In New School Year

As has become tradition, each year just before the start of school, the UC College of Nursing hosts a "New Year’s Eve" party, complete with party hats and noisemakers. The event is meant to symbolize the celebration of new relationships and resolutions for the new school year.

This year over 260 students, alumni and UC employees attended. To help with New Year’s resolutions, many local, campus, and student organizations provided activities and resources to assist students with goals related to student life, finances, stress relief and exercise.

At noon, Jasmine Burno, the college’s grant administrator, led attendees in singing the university's alma mater during the "Paw Drop," where he Beatcat C-Paw was dropped from the rooftop of Procter Hall.
