UC Health will soon host a series of dicussion groups on the topic of maternity care. These voluntary sessions will be held beginning this month at the UC Health Business Center. Qualified participants who complete and sign a confidentiality agreement and particpate in a group will be compensated for their time and participation.
Below is a letter from UC Health with more details:
Dear UC Employee:
In order to provide the highest quality of care to all our patients, UC Health occasionally conducts voluntary discussion groups to learn ways we can meet the needs of our patients and improve their experiences at University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC). This research is important to better understand the needs and wants of our patients.
Over the next few weeks, the UC Health marketing team will be hosting 2 different discussion groups for UC and UC Health employees who have given birth to a baby in the past 2 years at any Greater Cincinnati area hospital. The purpose of these groups is to identify best practices for maternity care at UCMC. The discussion groups, which are completely voluntary, will be held at the UC Health Business Center, with each session lasting about 2 hours. We are inviting UC employees to participate in a confidential meeting, led by a professional moderator who is not employed by UC or UC Health.
To participate, employees must:
• Be a current full time or part time employee of the University of Cincinnati or UC Health;
• Have delivered a baby at any Greater Cincinnati area hospital within the past 2 years; and
• Meet other demographic criteria so that we can obtain an appropriate mixture of backgrounds and experiences that can help better inform our research findings.
Our goal is to recruit approximately 10 people per group. You can only participate in one group. Each participant who agrees to sign a confidentiality agreement and participates in the groups will be paid an incentive of $100.
If you want to learn more details or find out if you qualify to participate, please contact Kristen Monroe at Qfact by calling 513-206-7512. She will ask you a few questions about your background and schedule you at the appropriate time and location. Thank you very much for your consideration.
