Cincinnati--Roger Guard, MLS, assistant senior vice president, UC
Academic Information Technology and Libraries (AIT&L), has been
invited to serve as a member of the Biomedical Library Review Committee
on the National Library of Medicine (NLM), beginning immediately
through June 30, 2004. The NLM is a branch of the National Institutes
of Health. The committee is responsible for the initial scientific
merit review of grant applications for medical library resources and
research in medical and biomedical informatics. Guard is the principal
investigator for NetWellness, a consumer health information web site
provided through a statewide collaboration among Ohio academic health
sciences centers.
