Cincinnati--The UC College of Medicine Department of Family Medicine
is presenting a full-day conference entitled "The Changing Face of
Homelessness in Cincinnati" in Kresge Auditorium from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on
Oct. 26, 2001. The conference will include discussions about the
current state of healthcare for the homeless in Cincinnati and will
include a panel of current or previously homeless individuals who will
speak about their experiences. The conference will also identify
resources and provide workshops that focus on providing healthcare
dental care, and mental healthcare to the homeless.
conference cost is $50 for practicing physicians; $30 for nurses and
social workers; and $10 for residents, medical students or volunteers.
