Call for Spring 2009 Pilot Awards
The Cincinnati Cancer Consortium is soliciting applications for its Spring 2009 Pilot Awards, which provide funding for cancer related research projects. Priorities for this round of pilot grants include supporting continued research for investigators who are submitting a competitive renewal application and applications which have a high probability of obtaining extramural funding from the National Cancer Institute, although all strong cancer related applications will be considered. The program will offer approximately six one-year grants of $50,000, depending on availability of funds and worthy proposals. All proposals will be reviewed for scientific content, likelihood of leveraging the pilot grant into national funding and achieving programmatic goals of the cancer center. All proposals must be submitted by Wednesday, April 15. For more information, including submission guidelines, contact Peggy Bareswilt at (513) 558-1284 or email@example.com.
