Work on MSB Rehabilitation Has OK to Proceed

Published March 2010

The "Notice to Proceed” for work on Phases 2 and 3 of the Medical Sciences Building Rehabilitation has been issued, with March 1 as the official start date as indicated in meetings on the medical campus in February.

Weather permitting, contractors will begin mobilizing on site the week of March 1. Construction fence installation within Levine Park is expected to start by the early part of the following week. Installation of interior construction barriers (primarily on the seventh floor) is expected to start that week also.

The Phase 2 construction area is the north half of the seventh floor and the northeast quadrant of floors G through 6.

Levine Park is being used as a staging area for the MSB Rehabilitation and will be closed for the duration of the project (until early 2013).
