12th Annual PRaISE Conference May 21

This year’s Presentations of Research and Innovative/Scholarly Endeavors (PRaISE) conference at the College of Allied Health Sciences will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2010, at the French East building and Medical Sciences Building.
The PRaISE conference serves as an opportunity for students to showcase their research work through poster displays and oral presentations.
The day begins with a welcome address from UC Vice President for Research Sandra Degen, PhD, at 8:30 a.m. in the MSB’s Kresge Auditorium.
At 11:30 a.m. there will be a presentation of awards to distinguished alumni in Kresge and at noon, the day’s keynote speaker, James Eliassen, PhD, will speak on the "Value of Collaborative Research within the Allied Health Fields." Eliassen is the associate director of the Center for Imaging Research and research assistant professor in the department of psychiatry and behavioral neuroscience.
