Speaker at 2 Environmental Health Events Wednesday

Robin Fuchs-Young, PhD, director, Community Outreach and Education Program, University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, will speak at two department of environmental health events Wednesday, May 26, 2010.
Fuchs-Young will present, "Beyond crosstalk: New insights into estrogen receptor interactions that impact breast cancer susceptibility and progression at the departmental seminar at 10 a.m. in Kettering Lab’s Kehoe Auditorium.
She will meet with environmental health students from 11 a.m. to noon, then attend the Center for Environmental Genetics’ Pilot Program Symposium in Kettering Lab Room 119. As part of the symposium, she will present, "Translating science to the community: literacy, prevention and recruitment,” at 2 p.m.
The symposium will showcase new work in environmental health sciences research being done at UC and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Lunch will be served.
