Monthly Generator Testing Saturday, Oct. 16

On Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, Facilities Management will conduct the monthly test of all emergency generators in the following buildings: Medical Sciences Building, CARE/Crawley Building, Cardiovascular Research Center, Kettering Lab, Kettering Addition, Health Professions Building, Procter Hall, University Hall, Vontz Center, French East, Eden Garage (North & South), Surgical Research Unit and Wherry Hall.

 This test will only affect the emergency side of the electrical system, not the regular power to the buildings. The test will begin at 5:30 a.m. and conclude by 3 p.m. There will be two momentary power interruptions on the emergency load only in each building. Each generator will run approximately 30 minutes.
