MS Bike Tour

Published May 2003

The Neuroscience Institute will enter a team in the MS 150 Bike Tour under the banner of the Waddell Center for Multiple Sclerosis (MS). John Tew, MD, and Joseph Broderick, MD, UC College of Medicine professors and physicians at The Neuroscience Institute will serve as team co-leaders.

The fully catered, 150-mile tour, which benefits the MS Society, is scheduled for July 12-13, 2003. It will start and finish at the Countryside YMCA in Lebanon, Ohio, and will include an overnight stay in air-conditioned dorms at Miami University. Registration is $25 or $35, depending on the size of the team, and the minimum pledge per person is $200.

The Ohio Valley Chapter of the MS Society and local bike shops will sponsor spring training rides to help prepare riders. Anyone interested in participating should call Cindy Starr at 584-0879 or e-mail starrcm@healthall.com.
