Voices of the Medical Center

Published August 2003

In July, the Waddell Center for Multiple Sclerosis sponsored a team in the 22nd Annual Kroger Brand MS 150 Bike Tour. Headed up by John Tew, MD, the Waddell Center team included more than 40 cyclists and raised thousands of dollars for local services and national research projects overseen by the National MS Society. The team was also honored as this year's largest new team of cyclists. The Waddell Center for MS, established with a $5 million gift from Oliver and Virgilee Waddell, focuses on patient care, clinical trials and academic research. Featured by the air care helicopter are John Tew, MD, Andrew Ringer, MD, Michael Privitera, MD and Brad Skidmore, MD.
