Mini Medical College

Published September 2003

The UC College of Medicine will open its doors to the community Oct. 7-28 when it hosts the 5th session of Mini Medical College. This four-week peek into the life of a medical student is de-signed to be entertaining, educational and easy to understand. Participants will not only have the chance to get a taste of medical school, but will also become educated on many health issues and cutting-edge technology related to lung cancer, obesity, bio-terrorism, hepatitis C, heart failure, Alzheimer's, surgery, and stroke.

This Communiversity continuing education program, co-sponsored by the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs at the UC Medical Center, offers two presentations each Tuesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. A fee of $69 covers all eight presentations, a notebook of materials, a Mini Medical T-shirt and a certificate of participation for those attending all four evenings.

Registration is going on now. For more information or to register, visit www.uc.edu/ce/minimed.html. You can also register by phone at 556-6932, or in person at 2442 French Hall, UC Clifton Campus. No cash is accepted. Make checks payable to the University of Cincinnati.
