Pharmacy Alum Named President of National Medical Association

Randall Maxey, MD, PhD, was elected the 104th president
of the National Medical Association for the year 2003. Dr. Maxey was
born and raised in Cincinnati and obtained his bachelor's degree in
pharmacy from UC. He received both his MD and PhD in cardiovascular
pharmacology from Howard University College of Medicine.
In July, Dr. Maxey returned to Cincinnati to give a Pediatric Grand Rounds lecture on the disparities in health and health care.
