Stroke Team, Jim Glenn Honored for Quality Service

UC hosted the second annual President's Quality Service Awards Thursday, Sept. 25. Awards were presented to six individuals and two teams. Jim Glenn, equipment application specialist from the Customer Service Division of Academic Information Technologies and Libraries received an award for his outstanding service to the many constituents of the UC Medical Center. A special award was presented to the members of the Greater Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky Stroke Team for their tireless effort to educate and care for the public before, during and after the onset of stroke.
"A day, an afternoon, a moment like this, serves to remind us how each person contributes to the University of Cincinnati," said Jane E. Henney, MD, senior vice president and provost for health affairs.
In addition to the awards, Joseph Steger, retiring president of UC, was recognized for his 19 years of service to UC.Other award winners include Nancy Bauman, College of Arts & Sciences; Gerri Burke, College of Engineering; Dorris Jackson, University Libraries; Victoria Montavon, University Libraries; Patricia Woods, College of Arts & Sciences; the Building Services Team, Facilities Managenment, TeacherŐs College/Dyer Hall; and The Learning Center Team, Clermont College.
