Voices of the Medical Center

Published April 2004

The demolition of the oldest portion of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center began this winter to make room for an 11-story research tower. The tower will be 363,000 square feet and will be made up of research space and the Center for Computational Medicine (a joint project between UC and Cincinnati Children's). The remaining portion of research space on this site is slated to be demolished April 16, and construction of the new facility will begin next fall. The new research tower will increase research space at Cincinnati Children's by 70 percent.
