Bingham Honored for Translational Research

The Department of Environmental Health has named Eula Bingham, PhD, winner of the 2004 Roy E. Albert Award for Translational Research in Environmental Health.

Professor in the department's toxicology division, Dr. Bingham is a member of the Institute of Medicine. Her work has focused on worker health and safety issues, including workplace carcinogens. She currently heads a screening program for former construction workers in nuclear weapon plants.

The Roy E. Albert award honors the late director of the Department of Environmental Health (1985-94).
