Heavy equipment goes to work on construction of the new Center for Academic and Research Excellence (CARE), a $160.3 million project that also includes renovation of the Medical Sciences Building (MSB). The CARE building and MSB renovation are part of the university’s overall master plan and will add 240,000 gross square feet of laboratory and educational space to the academic health center campus.
