Parkinson's Research Bolstered by $100,000 Gift

Published December 2004

The Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson's Disease Research and Wellness presented a $100,000 check to the Neuroscience Institute at UC and University Hospital. The gift will support research into causes of and treatments for Parkinson's disease and will aid in the recruitment of internationally recognized research scientists and the establishment of a clinical research fellowship. "This generous gift from the Davis Phinney Foundation will have a galvanizing effect on the Parkinson's research community at UC," said Kim Seroogy, PhD, director of the Selma Schottenstein Harris Laboratory at the College of Medicine.
