UC freshman Alexandra Warner has received a four-year, $20,000 scholarship as one of eight recipients of the 2007 Marvin Lewis Scholarship Fund, established by Cincinnati Bengals Head Coach Marvin Lewis.
A graduate of Roger Bacon High School, Warner played varsity soccer, participated in the Bacon Buddies Mentor Program, and was a freshman service homeroom leader and school ambassador. She also volunteered for Shantytown Awareness for Homeless.
At UC, Warner plans to major in premedicine with hopes of becoming a pediatrician.
“I love working with children and want to be the person who can make them feel better when they are ill,” she says.
