Nursing Program Connects Students to Professionals

The College of Nursing’s Caring through Sharing Mentoring program kicked off its second year Oct. 4 with a dinner program, sponsored by the college and the UC Alumni Association, which highlighted the historical importance of diversity. The program pairs minority students, including men, with nursing professionals for nursing experiences. Pictured: This year, 28 mentors, including four mentees who graduated from the college, are paired with 35 students.
