Tristate residents are encouraged to make their health a priority and participate in the free medical screenings, informational health talks and clinical facility tours at the UC Physicians group seventh annual health fair.
The event, which is free and open to the public, takes place Saturday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. to noon at the University Pointe medical campus at 7700 University Court in West Chester.
A limited number of adult flu shots ($20, cash only) will be available by advance appointment only.
Appointments are given on a firstcall, first-served basis and can be made by calling (513) 475-8000. At the event, attendees can take advantage of free health screenings—including skin cancer, blood glucose, hearing, nerve conduction, strength, blood pressure and body mass index evaluations—and women can learn how to do breast self-examinations.
There will also be free 30-minute interactive educational sessions about some of the latest medical advances.
