Published October 2008

Tristate residents are encouraged to make their health a priority and participate in the free medical screenings, informational health talks and clinical facility tours at the UC Physicians (UCP) seventh annual health and wellness fair.

The free, public event takes place Saturday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. to noon at University Pointe, 7700 University Court in West Chester.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet physicians and explore interactive displays designed to educate people about health risks and conditions.

People can also take advantage of free health screenings, including strength and nerve conduction studies, cosmetic skin analysis, vein evaluations, blood pressure and glucose checks. A limited number of adult flu shots will be available for a fee and by advance appointment only.

Appointments are given on a firstcall, first-served basis and can be made by calling (513) 475-8000. UCP is the regionís largest multispecialty group, with more than 500 physicians practicing in 26 specialties. For more information, visit www.ucphysicians.com.
