The 2009 inaugural Cincinnati Cancer Symposium Series will focus on nuclear receptors to honor the contributions of Elwood Jensen, PhD, a respected scientist who made significant contributions to the field of medical science in breast cancer.
Jensen is the Distinguished University Professor and George and Elizabeth Wile Chair in Cancer Research at UC.
The symposium, sponsored by the cancer and cell biology department at UC and the Cincinnati Cancer Consortium, will be held Oct. 14–16 in Kettering Laboratory’s Kehoe Auditorium on UC’s medical campus.
The event features invited talks by leading scientists in the field as well as contributed poster presentations and short lectures based on submitted abstracts.
Registration is $295 by Sept. 14 or $345 afterward. The cost for students and fellows is $195 by Sept. 14 or $245 afterward.
